Weekend Overview
Thursday, February 5
Welcome to San Jose del Cabo!
We’ve blocked an entire boutique hotel in downtown San Jose del Cabo, and we’re planning to spend lots of time there with our guests.
We ask that everyone fly in on Thursday and join us at the hotel for welcome drinks and an introduction to the city.
San Jose del Cabo’s Thursday evening Art Walk is a must-see, so we plan to venture out in the early evening. Additional details in the Detailed Itinerary.
Friday, February 6
Whale Watching & Day Drinking in Cabo San Lucas
We’re chartering a boat for all of our guests to experience one of our favorite activities: whale watching!
We’ll have a taco bar and specialty cocktails on the boat. Transportation to the marina will be provided (along with Dramamine if needed).
Catherine and Brandon have been vacationing in Cabo every February since they first started dating, and they consider Whale Watching a can’t-miss activity. Also can’t-miss are the mango shots and day drinking in Cabo San Lucas (don’t worry, Kate, we’ll make sure you get in this time).
Ubers are plentiful, so anyone who skips their Zofran in the morning (looking at you, Mary) will have the option of heading back to the hotel anytime. We expect this afternoon and evening to be fairly low key, though some of you have been known to get wild in Cabo.
Saturday, February 7
Celebration Day!
Leave your expectations at the door, traditionalists. The whole weekend is a celebration, but Saturday is our cocktail hour and sunset dinner at Acre Restaurant.
The 25 acre farm to table restaurant is one of Catherine and Brandon’s favorite spots in Cabo, and we’re so excited to share it with everyone!
In lieu of a traditional reception, we’re taking you animals back to town and unleashing you (and Esteban) on San Jose del Cabo. We’ll start at Drift, and there’s no guessing where we’ll end…but one thing you can count on is that Seah will be up for oneeeeeee more.
Sunday, February 8
Adios!
We understand that some of you may opt for early flights out, but everyone who’s still around after check out is welcome to join for a goodbye brunch.
Of course, Buffalo Bills fans might find a reason to stay one more day (c’mon, lucky number 22!). Jeff & Miles, make sure your flights are refundable!
